![]() | Watch a documentary. |

Watched "The Social Dilemma". Eye opener. I left all social media platforms about three years ago aside from LinkedIn, for business purposes, and this site. Glad I did, and honestly, haven't missed any of them in the slightest. This documentary explains a lot when it comes to growing suicide rates, political polarization, world view polarization, which all coincidentally started trending all upward with the introduction of social media sites. I would recommend this to anyone to watch.

![]() | Play a board or card game. |

Played B-sieged sons of the Abyss on advanced difficulty. Conceded at the end of the 6th round as I knew there was no way for me to win. One of my heroes died early which I resurrected. Resurrections carry a stiff penalty in the game in that during the enemy spawn phase the enemies get to spawn twice in one turn. Couple of rounds later a couple more heroes died. The game is brutally difficult and seems to rely more on luck than tactics. I have decided to list the game for trade in my board game community for now as I am not one for luck based games. When I am in the mood for a luck based game I hit the casino or my sports betting account. There can be several points in the game where the game gives you "false choices", that is, the illusion that you have a choice between 6 or 7 actions. The reason these are "false" choices is because you have to focus on one thing that particular turn in order to stay alive the next turn for another false choice otherwise the game would be over in the next turn. So with most of the game rely on luck coupled with "false" choices just doesn't make this game much fun. If I only have one true choice, and that choice is based off luck then it seems like the game could drive itself and doesn't need me to play it. I try to hold my ratings on games till after I get 10 solid plays in . So far I am at 7 plays and it isn't looking good for this game to remain in my collection.
